About Me
I am a passionate Early Years practitioner, with a fully enhanced DBS check, Paediatric first aid knowledge and safeguarding training. I'm an absolute perfectionist, and put 100% into everything I do. Throughout the last few years I have set myself realistic, yet ambitious, goals and have succeeded each time whilst maintaining a positive attitude and mindset. I am enthusiastic, reliable and extremely hard working. I work well within a team, as well as being able to work independently and rely on my own initiative. I have engaged in a variety of voluntary work, all of which I have thoroughly enjoyed; it has definitely solidified the fact that my passion lies in helping vulnerable and impressionable children.
My Experience
My job role consists of various different things, such as: liaising with parents, writing in depth observations and reports and supporting children's development. Throughout the last 3 years, I have worked closely alongside parents, carers and young children and have been lucky enough to gain an insight into the world of education. My job is essentially to encourage, nurture and care for those children in all aspects. Whilst completing my Level 3 diploma, I have made a conscious effort to broaden my knowledge. I have enrolled on various different courses, both virtually (during the pandemic) and face to face; which have all helped me further my understanding and practice. I have also attended numerous meetings, in which we discuss safeguarding, developmental and personal concerns. Working in early years has allowed me to obtain crucial knowledge, not just academically but in every aspect. I have gained the ability to maintain positive relationships with all parties, whilst learning how to approach sensitive subjects with the utmost respect and ease.
