My Summary

My Experience

I have experience babysitting two young children age 1 and 3 years from evening, overnight to the next morning. I was employed in happy days childcare for several months where I worked with young babies and children up until 12 years old. Within this role, I completed school runs with multiple children at a time, conducted after school activities, assisted with homework and another huge responsibility of working in this organisation was health and safety. It was important that messages between parents and schools were clearly passed on including any injuries that the child may have endured during their school day. During my employment here, I worked with several children of varying degrees of physical and learning abilities which I found to be rewarding and very enjoyable to work with.
I also volunteered with Ardnashee’s special school’s summer scheme during my early teenage years while also caring for my older brother, who also lived with several mental and physical disabilities.

My Qualifications

I worked in altnagelvin as a healthcare assistant for two years and have qualifications in health and safety aswell as firsthand experience in administering it. I gained several qualifications while employed in happy days childcare structured around child safety and supporting their development.
