About Me

My name is Petra and I am 22 years old.
I have been living in England for 10 years now and have finished my university course this summer at the University of Nottingham.
After spending so much time in class playing and teaching, I found that to be the most rewarding job I could do, most of the time it didn't feel like work at all!
I would love to be a babysitter/nanny because I believe I have the sensitivity and energy to work with children and help them become the best versions of themselves. It also makes me happy to experience the family environment and to know that I can help parents ensure that their children are safe and have fun.
I am a very motivated and loving person, I have always liked to read and write, play the ukulele and learn languages. I am passionate about education and I love sharing knowledge in a fun and interactive way. I also value fitness, I usually go to the gym 3 times a week or go for a nice walk or swim. I love being outdoors, spending time in nature has always been a priority for me, and I tend to limit my use of technology.
I am kind and deeply empathic, I am a very good listener and I have a lot of patience and understanding for each stage that each child faces. Every child is unique and sometimes things we find easy and normal can affect them differently.
I am also very responsible and organized, I believe that it is important to establish healthy routines that allow children to feel safe but also flexibility to address the needs and moods of each child on different days.
Family is extremely important to me, which is why I ultimately understand how crucial it is to know that someone who enters your home will do so in a respectful manner and willing to accommodate your family's needs.
