Hi, my name is chelsie! I’m 23 and living in cardiff.
I am patient and reliable person with a positive mindset. I have experience caring for children in mainstream and additional needs settings. I have a 5+ years experience with children and young people with SEN and/ or PMLD. I have worked within a special needs school for 5 years and a personal assistant for a young adult with cerebral palsy.
I have a full enhanced dbs and in the process of being a registered childminder. I am disability and and learning needs experienced and confident.
My Experience
My experience with children and young people of all ages started from the age of 16 working as a party host. The past 5 years I have worked as a special needs teaching assistant, supporting children and young person with personal care and development. I have a wide range of knowledge and skills with Austin, ADHD, global delay and cerebral palsy.
I have epilepsy training, basic first aid, manual handling and basic sign language/maketon.
My Qualifications
Level 3 diploma in specialist support for supporting teaching and learning in schools
GCSE maths, English, business, public services.
A level performing arts
