About Me
My name is Ikana. I am a caring and enthusiastic childcare provider with multiple years of experience in care taking and education. I graduated with a first class for my first degree from university. Patient, adaptable and comfortable supervising groups of children large and small. Hoping to better take advantage of my skill set in a nurturing, hands-on role.
I enjoy time with children a lot and am naturally drawn to them. I can care for kids between 3 - 11years old. I am skilled in taking care of them and keeping them engaged to avoid or reduce tantrums as much as possible.
My Experience
I have over 4 years of experience in child care and child minding. I have also had experience tutoring over 14 children between ages 5-7 in a class. I enjoyed my job as a childminder and the kids also love me very much. Part of my skills includes; caring for newborn, home tutoring, changing diapers, feeding, playing with the kids, teaching nursery rhymes, and so on
My Qualifications
I had my first degree in Business Administration in 2015. I also have a Master's degree which is my highest qualification at the moment.
