About Me
I am from Edinburgh, Scotland however, I left home eights years ago and worked as an Early Years Teacher in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In August 2022, I moved to Italy to work as a Home Room Teacher in an International School. Unfortunately, I have had to return to Edinburgh for three months and in February I will fly back to Italy.,
I enjoy travelling and visiting places I have never seen before. I like to keep fit; therefore, I am a member of a Fitness Club which I attend regularly. In addition, I enjoy hiking and being out in nature. I am very social and I enjoy meeting new people and socialising with my friends. In addition, I am always keen to make new friends and try new things
My Experience
I am looking for temporary work and ideally, I would love to find a position which involves working with early years. I am available from 5 December (possibly earlier) until either 10 or 17 February 2022.
I am from Edinburgh, Scotland and I have been working with early years learners, for almost eight years, where for the majority of the students, English was their second language. I am passionate about teaching as it is a diverse, entertaining, challenging and, above all rewarding position. My experience has allowed me the opportunity to teach a variety of age groups, from toddlers to adults; from this, I have discovered that my passion lies with early years learners, in particular, ages 2-3 years. I believe this is due to my youthful, caring and fun nature. I have bags of energy and enthusiasm, along with being very creative, in order to produce practical, engaging and interesting lessons. I am extremely nurturing and patient and I am capable of creating a learning environment where children feel loved, cared for and safe. I am an excellent communicator and I am able to build strong relationships with my students, their families and my colleagues. I think an Early Years Teacher plays such as important role in children’s life and their development; therefore, I always strive to be the best educator I can be by being pro-active in learning new approaches to learning.
