Hiya! My name is Olivia and I'm a first year student at the University of Aberdeen studying Biomedical Science. I am looking for a part-time tutoring position either in person or virtual! My family moved from the US to Scotland five years ago and have loved every second!
My Experience
I have been babysitting, nannying, and tutoring for children of all ages since I was nine years old! I have had the privilege of being an extended member to many families over the years. Being a part of a child's growing-up is very special to me!
I have tutored students from age 5 to 12 across a variety of subjects including Latin, Math, English, and Biology. I can provide anything from basic homework help to a tailor-made study plan for your student.
I have experience as an in-home "Befriender" for children with learning disabilities. This was an amazing opportunity which helped my expand and adapt my communication skills to fit my unique service user's needs.
My Qualifications
I am familiar with SQA curricula and have straight-A qualifications of my own through Advanced Higher.
I also have completed a course in Health and Social Care at the local college and am equipped with moving and handling skills.
I am PVG, Child Protection, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid certified.
