About Me
I’m an experienced childcare professional with many years of nannying experience, working with children from babies through to pre-teens. When my daughter started school, I moved into nursery work and then into my current role as a teaching assistant in a primary school, supporting both reception classes and older SEN children.
Through this, I’ve realised I much prefer the more personal, one-to-one nature of nannying, where I can give children the individual attention they need to thrive. I’m friendly, nurturing, and firm but fair in my approach. As a mother to an 8-year-old, I also understand childcare from a parent’s perspective and bring both professional expertise and real-life experience.
I’m passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel secure, and I love creating a fun, supportive environment where they can flourish.
My Experience
I have over 17 years of childcare experience, ranging from babysitting and nannying to working in a nursery and, more recently, as a teaching assistant in a primary school. Alongside this, I bring nearly 9 years of hands-on parenting experience, giving me a well-rounded understanding of children’s needs at every stage.
My Qualifications
I studied Child Development at GCSE level and went on to gain A Levels and a Bachelor’s degree. While my degree is in Journalism and PR, my true passion has always been childcare, which I returned to professionally soon after university
My Availability
I am available all day on Monday and Tuesdays and from early morning until early evening on Wednesdays.

My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
My standard rate is £18 per hour for weekday daytime nannying for up to two children. For evenings, additional children, or school holiday cover, the rate may vary slightly to reflect the extra care required. I’m happy to discuss arrangements with each family to ensure the schedule works well for everyone.
