About Me
Two main characteristics that would define my childcare style:
1. I am a qualified psychotherapist/clinical hypnotherapist and therefore really understand the brain, body language and secrets of communication and motivation.
2. Secondly I am a speed skater, my female endurance team (The Galactics) is the current record holder in 24-hour race Le Mans (France), meaning as an athlete I guarantee you, I have enough energy to give to your children.
I am looking for a part time position (up to 25 hours a week) as currently building my own business (re my qualifications).
I have long and extensive experience with children, I can face paint, handle large groups and teach them skating.
Originally I come from the Czech Republic, I have been in the UK for 16 years and have always looked after children between jobs in luxury retail (I worked for Selfridges as a brand manger for 7 years before I decided to start my own business) and racing.
Additional services for parents include consultations, distressing sessions, sound therapy and hypnotherapy if desirable.
My Experience
I initially came to the UK as a nanny 16 years ago and looked after:
5 year old boy (full time)
3+6 year old sisters (weekends)
6 and 9 year old brother and sister (full time)
a new born and her 4 year old sister (part time help)
duties included:
school drop offs, pick ups, homework, cleaning, washing, shopping, meal planning and prep, play time organising, words teaching, colour training, sports activities, club pick ups and drop offs, bedtime and wake up time management.
Sometimes I would be alone with the child for a few days.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified psychotherapist/clinical hypnotherapist/sound therapy.
The rest is experience. I have taught big groups of kids skating when representing the sport in China.
Pictures available, been featured in Guardian (teaching kids slalom skating) and on TV in China.
My Availability
I am flexible, usually not available Sunday evenings.
Need to be off once a month for 4 consecutive days (which if planned in advance, is also flexible).
