About Me
I’m very responsible and reliable and I have experience with children of all ages from very young to late teenagers. My experience is primarily with special needs children of all ages, I have worked very closely with autistic children in particular. I am a trained performer and initially found I really bonded with children through workshops I was leading and meet and greets after shows. I’m a passionate cook and used to teach the children how to cook and other life skills at my previous job in an SEN school. I currently help run a singing waiters business at which I also perform, therefore my hours can be flexible. Non driver and due to give birth in a month so currently only available for one off/babysitting help!
My Experience
I worked for 2 years as a Residential Keyworker at a special needs school supporting the students in their everyday lives, teaching them skills and building positive and strong relationships. I have toured Theatre in Education shows to schools and run workshops with the children, I have run community outreach programmes to keep kids off the streets, taught creative lessons at school holiday programmes and I have been a nanny for a bespoke company that looks after young children at festivals.
My Qualifications
I am first aid trained and was trained to give out medications in my previous position. A lot of my training was inhouse as I was at the UK’s only school for autistic girls. I have hands on experience. I have a triple distinction in Musical Theatre.
My Availability
My availability is flexible but I wouldn’t be able to take on full time hours due to other work commitments. Please contact me and I can arrange other work around your schedule if need be.
