My Summary

My Experience

I was the oldest child in my neighbourhood, so I often babysat various neighbourhood children and my younger siblings for many years as a young teenager.
I worked as a full-time nanny for two summers looking after a 9 and 11-year-old, often babysitting their friends as well. I cooked, cleaned, and did various activities with the children.
I was a behavioral therapist for two 3-year-old children with developmental disabilities for one year. I helped teach and take care of their immediate needs and learning skills to help them develop skills alongside their disabilities.
I was a tennis, volleyball, and piano teacher for many summers throughout high school and college, as work and volunteering. Here I took on large groups of children as well as individual lessons to develop various skills and provide a creative and fun learning environment.
I was also a research assistant at the University of Illinois in America for three years, where we did research on infant-mother relationships. I'd often work with very young children (3-12 months) in playing games and doing research tasks with the babies while keeping a safe, fun, and confidential environment.

My Availability

I am an international student so I am only legally allowed to work 20 hours a week. I do have several important academic dates for July and August where I will be presenting my research.
