My Summary

My Experience

I have experience babysitting children from newborns to toddlers to ten-year-olds, and I have an understanding of what different children of different age ranges need from babysitters. In high school I was both a prefect and Deputy Head Girl of Girls Boarding, have worked closely with pupils, keeping them motivated and safeguarding them, ensuring their learning environment was as safe and inclusive as possible. As a school prefect, I have hosted theatre-themed afternoon activities where young students could creatively express themselves onstage, and I had them engage in fun activities where all students felt safe and included. As Deputy Head Girl, I arranged and held meetings in the hostel, kept minutes, collected student concerns, and raised them with management. I resolved conflicts among the younger pupils and took to the school board, requests and suggestions on how to improve living conditions in hostels and successfully followed them up. The Boarding Parents saw me as a role model and were happy to let me mentor their children. One Junior pupil told me that I am "trustworthy kind and I don't make fun of others". My ability to quickly raise and get issues resolved discreetly and with confidentiality will be an asset for this position.
