About Me
Working and learning from children has been continuous through my life and I’m still in awe of all the different paths on this journey.
I come from a large family, so being in the company of children and more importantly the cohesive family dynamic has been a huge part of how I’ve formed my values on parenting and being parented.
I’ve lived in Coventry my whole life, exploring and witnessing the culture and the diversity this city has to offer. However, moving to Sheffield to come to the University, I loved having the opportunity to experience new things and understand the people around me. I truly believe that it is a vibrant and beautiful place to do that.
I’ve always covertly and directly worked with children my whole life. Having 3 younger sisters and being the oldest siblings, working in Clarks and being in charge of the kids section (measuring children, helping them get their first shoes/school shoes- which is such a beautiful experience to witness/ help out with!) and nannying for family members/friends over the years.
For now I am looking for a job with a lovely family to support this dream of the children being cared and continue to learn more from the family on how best to nurture children in their childhood and help to curate it! ?
My Experience
My most recent job was working with two children aged 2 and 5.
I began the role when the youngest was only 9 months old so I was really able to follow the developmental stages as he learnt and grew and adapted my interactions with him as well as new ways to support him in his learning.
Getting to stay and really create a connection with a family over a year and a half time period was a such an incredible, heart-warming opportunity. And it's safe to say it's taking some getting use to without them. But i'm looking for another family who feels i might be the right fit for them :)
My roles included:
- Creating activities for the children
- Day outings
- Cooking meals
- Helping the eldest with her homework
As I stated as well, I also worked at Clarks for 2 and a half years and I worked heavily in the children’s section. I worked with children of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, abilities and having the chance to witness this on a day-to-day basis was so rewarding and so exciting to see how such a small part I play and impact the children. As well as this, seeing the joy on the parent’s faces always makes it 10x better! It has definitely contributed towards my experience and helped me to observe the different needs that each child possesses.
But I've always enjoyed spending time with children as I'm from a large family (my mum is one of 12!), so looking after younger cousins is something i have done from a young age, so the handling and being around young children is something i feel very comfortable with.

The only times I cannot do is Tuesday and Thursday morning/afternoon - but I am free for the rest of those days

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
My fees are £11 an hour for daytime hours
£12.50 an hour for nighttime/overnight.
