About Me
Hi - I’m an experienced Special Needs Learning Support Assistant looking for part-time hours - up to maximum of 3 days per week.
My work is always tailored to each individual child’s needs - and involves a nurturing, child-centred, creative and fun approach in which children know they will be cared for safely, whilst enjoying their play and making progress along their learning journey. Children respond well to the positive, encouraging and enabling space I offer that always has clear and healthy boundaries in which they can thrive and feel supported. My Experience
I have worked in both mainstream and special needs schools since my own three children (now young adults!) were young. I have completed Nurture Group Training and helped lead a Nurture Group;
I have experience supporting children (mainly Infants and Primary ages) in whole class, small groups and 1to 1.
As a Learning Support Assistant, pupils I have worked with have had varying needs - including Autism, Downs Syndrome, Emotional and Behavioural needs - and I love to see them making progress, growing in confidence and happiness and enjoying their childhood to the max!

My Availability
My ideal days would be from Mondays to Wednesdays - but I am open to being flexible to meet needs and occasional times eg an evening or alternative days.
