About Me
I am currently doing an online college course in psychology and am hoping to pursue this field of study into childcare, I wish to be a counsellor for children who are more unfortunate in hopes to make a difference to their lives. Whilst I am studying from home I want to grow my experience around children by babysitting and hopefully grow bonds with the families. Despite my age of 17, I am confident that your child will be in great hands!
My Experience
I am a frequent carer for my nephews: age 8 and 4. The youngest has autism and finds it very hard to communicate, we have a very close relationship and I have been learning makaton a form of sign language to help him to communicate as he can get frustrated easily with day to day tasks, I believe the challenges that people with special needs face do not define them and they sometimes need extra care.
My Qualifications
I have my maths and English GCSEs which I got a 4 in maths and two 5s in English lit and lang.
