About Me
I am an outgoing and friendly recent graduate from Newcastle University. I am 21 years old and currently live at home with my parents in Cambridgeshire but am looking to stay in Newcastle and expand my career from here. I have experience in childcare, babysitting three girls aged 4,6 and 9 for about a year. I also volunteered at a local primary school a few years ago. I mostly have experience in hospitality however I absolutely adore caring for children and believe it will be more fulfilling. I have just completed a three year course in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies.
My Experience
As I have previously mentioned, I babysat three lovely girls aged around 4,6 and 9, on and off for about a year. Working with children of different ages requires patience and understanding as each child has unique needs and behaviours. It was important for me to understand each child individually but also as sisters. It definitely improved my multi-tasking skills! I engaged the girls in creative activities such as drawing, painting, and crafting as well as outdoor sports such as tennis and trampolining. I believe I am very sensible and aware so ensuring their safety at all times was very important. I also made their lunches and snacks as they were under my care for most of the day. One of the girls had allergies so I had to be very careful as to not cross-contaminate anything and ensure she was safe at all times.
My Qualifications
I do not have any official qualifications however in a lot of the hospitality jobs I have done (e.g. pubs, festivals) I learnt first aid and hygiene basics. I intend to get DBS checked.
My Availability
I am available a few days whilst I finish writing my dissertation in the next coming weeks. However I am available full time this summer starting from the 1st of July onwards. I have a couple weekends where I am unavailable due to social events such as weddings.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Depending on the length of the job (full-time or part-time) I am happy to discuss this. If I had to drive I would also take these expenses into consideration.
