I am currently pursuing a BA in Education, Culture, and Children at The University of Sheffield. I am an international student from Zimbabwe, I bring a rich cultural perspective to my interactions with children. I'm deeply passionate about working with children, finding it incredibly rewarding to contribute to their growth and development. Beyond academics, my hobbies include socializing, reading, hitting the gym, and enjoying leisurely walks in the park. My Experience
2019
I did an apprenticeship at a day care centre in Harare, Zimbabwe. My daily tasks were making sure the children were engaging the activities provided as well as watching over them during their play time and doing story time at the end of the day.
2020
Towards the end of 2020 I took a job role as assistant teacher at home school in Harare, Zimbabwe. The age group I worked with ranged from 6-8 years old. My daily tasks included preparing lesson material with help from the head teacher. Sitting one on one with students to provide extra help in areas they were struggling with. Watching over them during their play time.
My Qualifications
I am currently doing a BA in Education, Culture and Childhood at the University of Sheffield.
My Availability
During the week my availability is very flexible. However, on the weekends I may not be available to work as I have other commitments to attend to. With that being said please don’t hesitate to ask if I am available on the weekend. During the summer my availability is much more flexible as I will be on break.
