About Me
Hi :) my name is Kati....
I am relocating with my family from Surrey to shepherdswell, Kent in December 2021.
I have 2 lovely children aged 12 and 10 and a mother who would prefer I didn’t put her age! ?
We are a very active, outdoorsy family, and have lots of outdoor based hobbies such as horse riding and motorcross. Whatever the weather you will find us outside having lots of fun!
We are moving to a small farm with horses, chickens and if I get my way a goat!!
The children will be going to school in sandwich and Dover.
Sooo now the slightly awkward part where you have to write a paragraph to tell everyone how amazing you are...... not my strongest quality but il give it a go!
I would say I am a bubbly loving person, great with children, calm, reliable, and fun!
I’m certainly Not afraid to sing out of tune or be silly but I also take my time to understand how to bring out the best of each individual child to help them achieve everything they are capable of.
it’s paramount to me that children in my care are safe and happy, I work well with family members and like to just slot in as part of the family, I’m very flexible and understand that things change, children get sick, plans change, and needs change. So am always happy to work around that and be as flexible as possible.
A little bit about my experience.
I have worked in a SEN school in cranleigh prior to having my second child, I worked there for 3 years, I loved it and learnt a lot about additional needs.
After my maternity leave I moved from the school to the local nursery school and worked there for 7 years starting as a nursery assistant and when I left I was the safeguarding lead.
I LOVED this job, but I was offered a job as a nanny for a local family and it was time for a change!
So I have been a nanny ever since.
I am availiable all times of day for one off emergencys or more permenant help, I would prefer a long term position but i am very flexible, so willing to consider anything.
i am a qualified 1st aider, i have current food hygeine certificates, trained in makaton and level 3 childcare nvq, a full clear uk driving licence and a clean enhanced dbs check, with excellent references.

My Experience
Since leaving school i have worked as a live in carer at birtley nursing home for 4 years, i moved to st josephs special needs school in cranleigh where i worked for a further 3 after having my daughter i went back to work part time for a cAre agency working with the elderly and young adults with special needs.
I now work in a cranleigh nursery school.
