I am a vivacious woman with a lot of passion. I love being able to gain new skills, I'm always wanting to learn about the world around me and soaking up everything it has to offer. I am resourceful and use my initiative to problem solve. In my spare time l am an active member in my church community and enjoy volunteering at our community grocery on my days off. My Experience
lhave a few years experience as a support worker within a family of young children with autism, I Nanny'd for a family ages 10,8 and 5 all 3 with autism catering to their individual needs, emotionally, psychically, mentally and spiritually. Keeping each of them in their routines, personal care and distributing medication.
Within 6 months of me working with the family, the youngest went from almost completely no verbal to being able to hold full conversations with strangers. I really felt like this was my calling and loved being apart of the family being able to support, sadly they emigrated or I would still be apart of that family now.
I have also been a restbite foster career; Until last year my mum was a foster career since I was a child, | have 16 years of experience living day to day seeing young people with extra needs, I have went on training days within action for children since I was a child, being trained in things like attachment theory, so even though it wasn't technically work, I have lived almost everyday of my life being that extra support since my mum was also a single parent. Since about 14/15 l have took that extra responsibility on, being in meetings multi agency advocating for the children we have had living with us and also being the restbite foster career.
I have also taken an active part within Sunday school within my church community, we are a church of 500+ you can imagine the military operation that comes with so many children, with so many different needs, on a Sunday morning and keeping them safe, entertained and educated on the bible along with helping with our weekly toddler group, which has sadly recently been put on a pause.

Regularly available, I just attend church on a Sunday morning but I’m able to miss now and again if needed over a full weekend
