My Experience
I have many years of hands-on experience caring for children, animals, and homes. I’m a proud parent to three children (aged 16, 12, and 3) and have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals. I have run numerous community workshops, leading art and craft sessions for people of all ages and abilities, which has given me a strong skill set in creativity, patience, and adaptability.
I’m also experienced with pet care — I have my own dog and cat and regularly look after the pets of family and friends. I have completed many painting and decorating jobs, including wallpapering, both for others and in my own home. I take pride in creating clean, well-finished spaces and enjoy keeping homes well-maintained and welcoming. My practical skills also include gardening and general home management, making me a reliable and multi-talented helper in a variety of roles.
My Qualifications
While I do not hold formal childcare qualifications, I have many years of hands-on experience raising my own children, supporting neurodivergent individuals, and running creative workshops for all ages. My formal qualifications are in Art & Craft, ICT, and Media, which have given me strong creative, organisational, and communication skills that I bring into my work with children, families, pets, and homes. I also hold safeguarding and first aid training.
My Availability
I can be flexible and work around my own children and family time. As a mum, I understand the importance of balance and reliability, and I’m looking to earn extra income while still being present for my kids. The same care, creativity, and attention I give to my own family is what I bring to the families, pets, and homes I work with.
