About Me
I live in the cotswolds and enjoy spending time with my two fluffy samoyeds, Freddie and Kaia. Walking, surfing and generally being outside. I love to play, explore new places and try new hobbies. I have worked with children for a long time and am constantly building my skills and learning about up to date research, brain development and sensory motor skills. I have worked between the NHS, social care and independent work for the last 4 years but have found I want to seperate from systems that do not properly support childrens education and work more directly with children and families.
My Experience
I am a specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist and work particularly with neurodiverse children, supporting them to get the right support. I am sensory integration trained and have a particular interest in primitive reflex integration. I am not looking to provide Occupational Therapy but am looking for part time work where I can build quality relationships with children and families who wouldnt normally be able to access support, whilst I am in the process of building my own company and deciding if I want to stay living in the cotswolds or moving to cornwall. My normal job comes with a large amount of stress and i want to focus on the part of the job that i LOVE, is spending quality time with children and families, accessing play and experiencing nature.
