I’m currently studying psychology at university, which has deepened my passion for working with children and understanding their development. My Experience
I have babysat for many different families, usually in the evenings. My responsibilities included preparing or feeding pre-prepared dinners, getting the children ready for bed, reading bedtime stories, tidying the house, and completing minor household chores for the parents.
I also had the opportunity to care for a one-year-old full-time for a week, working 9-5 each day. During this time, I was responsible for cooking meals, going for walks outside, managing nap time, engaging in play, and handling light household tasks.
At the nursery and primary schools where I worked, I took on a variety of responsibilities, including monitoring the children’s learning and development, planning and supervising activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being through safeguarding practices.
My Qualifications
Since I have worked for the past 3 years in education I have my DBS checked.
I completed a paediatric First Aid training while working at my past nursery.
My Availability
I am a psychology student at Loughbrough Univeristy, studying to become a child psychologist, and I am looking for a family to nanny part time during my last year of studying!
I have a car so I am happy to help with pick up and drop offs and I am very flexible, I am looking for a stable weekly routine of two days a week ideally!
