About Me
Hi parents and/or carers.
I am 27, i live in ipswich with my husband. We have a property close to the town centre. I am a non driver but am confident with public transport or walking.
I am currently on maternity leave with my first baby. My career has been within childcare and the nursery sectors, working with all aged children from 6 months - 12.
I am looking for something new from July to enable me to work around my little girl and experience my child grow up too.
I am looking for a part time position and if possible looking for you to be understanding and have some flexibility around specific days. I am able to be flexible.
I also regulary use BSL and makaton. My sister, her husband and my neices and nephews are Profoundly deaf.
My Experience
I have had lots of experience baby-sitting my family and friends children, mostly in the evenings.
I have worked in a nursery in braintree called kidorable and worked with all ages 6 months-12 i completed school runs and ensuring deadlines are met. I worked here from ages 18-22.
I then gained a job in ipswich at buzz bee babes as a nursery nurse then became promoted to depty room leader and am currently still at this position although looking to change. Working with 6 months-5 years.
I have experience carrying out childcare jobs like nappy changes, nap times, activity planning, following EYFS, supporting children to gain life knowledge and experiences. Working with colleges and parents and/or carers gaining professional friendships. Supporting the children at food times, carrying out snack time. Outdoor play, small group work. Trips to the park, museum, to the post office, town, park and more.
I also have experience with children who have english as an additional language and SEN including autisum, ADHD, profoundly deaf, speech and language delay, global developmental delay.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 CACHE children and young people qualification.
I am peadiatric first aid trained and know basic first aid training for adults also.
I have a enhached SEND qualification. I have completed PECS 1 and 2 training.
I have had training with Makaton
I have had basic and enhanched safegaurding training.
My Availability
I am avaliable two-three days a week i am unsure currently of yet what days. I think it would be important to discuss with my future employer when meeting.
