My Experience

I started working with children in a voluntary role helping out in my local church crèche when I was 16. For 4 years I have been a Unit helper for my local rainbows group (girls aged 5-7 years) which involves organising games, arts and crafts activities and singing songs. I successfully completed 3 childcare courses at Aberdeen college. Playwork and childcare, NC early education and childcare, and HNC Childhood practice. During my time at college I worked for over a year for a childcare agency, through the agency I was given a variety of jobs in nurseries, out of school clubs and as a babysitter in people's homes. I also completed 2 work experience placements during my time at college the first of which happened to be in Dyce afterschool club where I am currently employed as a play worker and have been working for the company since 2011 My other work experience placement was in a school nursery.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified playworker (NPA PLAYWORK AND CHILDCARE)
And a qualified Nursery Assistant (NC Early Education and Childcare) which is equivalent to SVQ level 2, as well as (HNC Childhood practice) which is equivalent to SVQ level 3
I have up to date Disclosures and am PVG registered

My Availability

Unless a really good full time position came up which I thought would be the right fit, my availability is mostly weekends and evenings for the moment.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I am available for £10 an hour. Depending on whether there was more than one child and whether I would be expected to help with housework which would affect how much time I had to fully interact with the children then I would have to raise my fees slightly. Also if I was taking the child/children out for the day I would expect expenses to be covered.
